Welcome to Thalir. By downloading or using the Thalir mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. About Thalir

Thalir is an AI-powered smart farming assistant designed for Tamil Nadu farmers. The app provides crop advice, disease detection, weather information, and farm management tools.

2. Free & Paid Usage

• Free tier: 15 AI queries per day, resets at midnight
• All other features (weather, cost tracking, schedules, plot management) are unlimited and free
• Paid plans with higher query limits may be introduced in the future with advance notice

3. AI Advice Disclaimer

Important: Thalir's AI provides general farming guidance based on TNAU (Tamil Nadu Agricultural University) data and AI analysis. This advice is:

• For informational purposes only
• Not a substitute for professional agricultural consultation
• Subject to AI limitations and may occasionally be inaccurate
• Best used alongside your own farming experience and local knowledge

We are not liable for crop losses, financial damages, or any adverse outcomes from following AI-generated advice.

4. Disease Detection

The photo-based disease detection feature uses AI image analysis. Results are suggestive and should be confirmed by an agricultural officer or expert before taking action, especially for high-value crops.

5. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate crop and plot information for better AI responses
• Do not misuse the AI chat for non-agricultural purposes
• Do not attempt to bypass the daily query limit
• Keep the app updated for the best experience

6. Data Ownership

You own all the data you enter into Thalir (farm details, costs, plots). Since data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for your own backups. Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all local data.

7. Service Availability

Thalir requires internet connectivity for AI queries, disease detection, and weather updates. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features requiring internet may be unavailable during outages.

8. Updates

We regularly update Thalir with improvements and new features. Updates are delivered automatically via EAS Update. Major updates requiring a new install will be communicated through the app.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cinexis and Thalir shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this app, including but not limited to crop losses, financial losses, or reliance on AI-generated advice.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in Indian courts.
